A source of much of the calm grounding energy at the base of things, is a Grand Trine in Earth, sextile Venus and Neptune. This Full Moon is mostly surrounded by Water and Earth signs, with one exception. A conjunction of Mercury and Uranus in the fire sign of Aries. The Grand Trine shows Jupiter in Taurus, Mars in Virgo, and Pluto in Capricorn. Mars is widely conjunct the Moon. The accompanying energy creates a time where we can all stand to benefit in some way. Finances feature here, and relationships (emotional connections) with family hold the key for improving ones finances. Financial assistance might be offered. Taurus and Capricorn express two things: the belief that everyone should earn their own way, but that hard work should be rewarded. Take advantage of any job offers you may receive because they can lead to bigger and better things.
With the Full Moon in Mercury ruled Virgo, the aspect of the Aries conjunction will be exact on March 5th, repeating on March 18th. Mercury will be stationing retrograde on March 12th. Expect the effects of this conjunction to stick around for up to several weeks. Effects of this Aries influence and the partnering up of Mercury and Uranus, will bring the birth of new and exciting ideas to the fore. That being said, don't get over zealous. Take things down a peg so you can examine these ideas a bit closer, and not jump the gun. The Mercury retrograde of the 12th will provide the atmosphere for this. Keeping things at a more manageable pace will alleviate the tendency to speak before an idea is fully formed.There are a couple of Sextile situations connected to the Mercury and Uranus partnership. Neptune and Chiron are in a semi-sextile in the sign of Pisces on one side, and a Taurean Venus is on the other. Venus and Neptune in sextile will create a perfect time for connecting with loved ones (familial and significant other). Chiron in the mix can suggest the possibility that there may be some emotional baggage to contend with. Take time to process issues that come up in an in depth personal way, so that they can be released and dealt with in a more positive and constructive way. Tactlessness can be avoided with some effort.
Use this lunation to think about where you are in your life. What are some of the main issues, and how are they effecting things for you? Focus on what you can do in moving forward to strengthen your position. As the Boy Scouts say, "Be prepared". Working on key personal issues can prepare you for the upcoming New Moon in Aries, on March 22nd. Mars and Mercury going retrograde is a recipe for heightened frustrations. Focus some of the current energies on centering yourself, so your patience level is securely in check. Be self aware. An emotional cleansing couldn't hurt. Strive to balance the unbalanced. Focus on your daily routines. Work to achieve inner health, not just in the physical, but the mental and spiritual. The wealth of positive cleansing energy at hand will help.
