It's not usually the best at taking night time photos, but I'm very happy with that one. Glad you enjoyed the post. :)

Nancy: Then I'm sure you pretty much know visually what the places I spoke of were like. Although I haven't been back there in years and years, I'm sure it would be hard for me to find exactly where I lived. Well, if that house is indeed a historical landmark then maybe I would be able to find that. 1969 - 70 was about the time I was in Norcross. Gravel roads, fields, forest, and neighbors but not within visual range. Along one side of that house was a huge stone patio that ran the length of it. There were gigantic shade trees dotting it that had to have been ancient. Interesting how one remembers one element of their past, and others start to flood forth. Think I may have to write a post about that home. Life in the country. An old B...well, C-Grade biker film was filmed there. During a break, Slim Pickins sat me on his knee and chatted with me. Cool, huh? Okay, I need to stop and save things for my post. lol!Lisa Erinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06589169201767326784noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9148957261931041796.post-10616129887699266432011-02-19T05:57:23.080-08:002011-02-19T05:57:23.080-08:00I grew up in Lilburn, moved there in 1969 or 70 wh...I grew up in Lilburn, moved there in 1969 or 70 when Gwinnett Co. was still mostly rural. Now, it's hard to picture a barn in Norcross or a farm in Duluth! Anything but a shopping center in Lilburn. It was a nice place to grow up in those days, though. What do you suppose cleared the smog on the night of the earthquake? In high school, I flew to L.A. to visit a penpal. It was my first time to fly anywhere, and I was shocked to see the brown clouds over the city.Anonymous Mehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04742574438291069769noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9148957261931041796.post-72330054636070586702011-02-19T05:31:01.203-08:002011-02-19T05:31:01.203-08:00What a stunning photo!
